Made with wholesome ingredients like dates, nut butter, and superfood seeds, they’re easy to whip up and even easier to enjoy. Whether you need a mid-afternoon pick-me-up or a post-workout snack, these little delights have got you covered. Let’s dive into the recipe!

Ingredients You’ll Need:
  • 1 cup pitted dates (softened in warm water)
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 cups oat flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons ground hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
  • 4 tablespoons melted coconut oil (Melted)
  • 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to your desired sweetness)

Instructions:

Step 1: Soften the Dates
Start by placing your pitted dates in a bowl and covering them with warm water. Let them soak for 10-15 minutes to soften. This step ensures your dates blend smoothly. Once softened, drain the water and set the dates aside.

Step 2: Blend the Wet Ingredients
In a food processor, combine the softened dates, peanut butter, cocoa powder, and sea salt. Blend until the mixture is smooth and sticky. This will be the base of your Power Balls.

Step 3: Prepare the Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the oat flour, almond flour, ground hemp seeds, and ground flax seeds. These nutrient-packed ingredients form the dry foundation for your Power Balls.

Step 4: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Add the blended date mixture to the bowl of dry ingredients. Pour in the melted coconut oil and maple syrup. Mix everything thoroughly using a spatula or your hands until it forms a cohesive dough.
Pro Tip: If the dough feels too wet, sprinkle in a bit more oat flour. If it’s too dry, add a little extra peanut butter.

Step 5: Shape the Balls
Scoop out small portions of the dough and roll them between your palms to form bite-sized balls. If the mixture sticks to your hands, lightly dust them with oat flour. You can make these as big or small as you like!

Step 6: Chill
Place the rolled balls on a plate or baking sheet and pop them into the refrigerator. Let them chill for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Step 7: Enjoy!
Your Power Balls are now ready to enjoy! These make for a fantastic grab-and-go snack or a healthy dessert. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator—they’ll stay fresh for up to a week.
